User sections

Discover the components of the user sections of your Merlin software.

The sections considered as ‘users’ in your Merlin software are:

  • Notifications

  • Communications

  • My profile

  • Help centre

Notifications

The ‘Notifications’ section opens a side window on the right-hand side of the interface. Here you will find all your recent notifications as well as those you have already viewed.

Click on Notifications…

These can be of various types:

  • A tag from a colleague in a discussion

  • When your email fails to send

  • When you are added to a team

  • When a project you are involved in changes to ‘in progress’ status

  • When a task is assigned to you

  • When a task you have assigned is completed

  • When one of your tasks reaches its due date

If you are the person in charge of the item database, you will also receive a notification when a request to add a new item to this database is created.

There is also a button with three dots. This allows you to mark all your notifications as read directly.

If you click on a notification, you will be redirected to the relevant email or task.

Click on Contacts…

Communications

In this section, you can access messages sent by your company, whether they are yours or those of your colleagues. You can also view your incoming emails (external emails).

All of these messages can also be viewed in full from this section.

Click on Communications

A three-dot action button appears when you hover your cursor over the top of an email line. When you click on it, you have the option to open the email, delete it, or navigate to the project it is associated with.

My profile

This section includes:

  • Your profile photo

  • Your first and last name

  • Your language for viewing the software

  • Your e-mail address

  • A button for editing your profile

  • A logout button

Help Centre

This is a direct redirect to the current help centre. Here you will find various articles, FAQs, the option to report bugs, and Merlin's virtual assistant.
