This article deals with part of the process of importing a bill of quantities. If you are not yet familiar with this topic, we invite you to read our article on importing a bill of quantities.
When importing your measurements, you may encounter import errors.
The first piece of information you will find on the page is the number of lines containing an error. In this case, there is an error in the measurement.
In addition, the nature of the error is also indicated. The value of the enumeration in this line does not exist in your Merlin space. This causes a problem when reading this line.
Further down the page, you will then find the lines containing an error.
Next to each line, you can click on the three small dots corresponding to that line. There, you will be able to choose one of these three actions :

Convert to comment
In this case, the unit with the value ‘mar’ does not exist in Merlin.
⚠️ There are several types of errors, and not all errors relate solely to the unit each time. ⚠️
To correct this error, you will need to change its unit to the corresponding unit in Merlin.
If you do not wish to change the value of your unit, you can add this value as an alias to the corresponding value in the settings.
For more information about units, please refer to our article on this subject.
Once the errors have been corrected, the page will refresh automatically to indicate that there are no more errors in your measurements and that you can proceed to the next step.
